dental care

Question by  jeslynn (1)

Is it bad that my lower molars tilt in towards my tongue?

They appear to be on a very slight angle.

Probably not. If they have been like this your entire life it won't cause a problem. If your teeth are shifting see a dentist.

It is not bad but it could be due to your wisdom teeth if they have not been extracted. They can push the lower teeth forward in some cases. Removing them can correct this.

This is only bad IF it makes it difficult to brush or floss the teeth, if the molar tilt is causing other teeth to crowd, or if it causes pain.

It's not bad, and it's unlikely to ever cause you any problems. Most people have a very slight overbite or underbite.
