Cervical cancer is very treatable and typically involves surgery, possibly in combination with a course of radiation. Even if not caught early, the survival rate is good.

Cervical cancer can be treated early with simple surgical procedures with a high cure rate (>90%). As cervical cancer becomes more advanced, the treatment becomes more extensive surgical procedures and may involve radiation. The higher the stage of cervical cancer, the more likely the cancer is not curable. However, even those with advanced metastasized cancer have a >10% survival rate.
