Yes. Betadine's main purpose is hospital use for when a surgeon scrubs up for surgery. Much opinion considers betadine the best antiseptic around. Betadine solution can be bought over the counter in a drug store and used as much as needed. This antiseptic can, however, permanently stain clothing so use with care.

Yes, Betadine is an antiseptic. It's commonly used to prep someone for surgery. It tends to leave an orange-brown sort of stain that wears off in a few days. It is only one of many antiseptics available for first aid, as well.
