Liquid or suspension forms of Advil or other ibuprofen containing medications are as effective as pill form when taken in the same dose. The same side effects and contraindications apply to the liquid and pill preparations also apply at the same doses. The liquid preparation should be avoided however if there is a risk of aspiration.

Many adults have trouble swallowing pills, so you are not alone. Advil liquid is perfectly safe and a great substitute to the pill form, just don't overdo it.

I would think it would be fine. If it is a child's medication you might have to double the dose.

If it is for sale at your pharmacy, and you do not have an allergy to it then yes it would be fine to take. Follow the right dosages and you will be fine.
