A waterpik is for flossing with water pressure I believe. I would recommend that you continue to use a manual or automatic toothbrush. I would talk to your dentist about your options and see what they recommend. If you are concerned with the cost it is not necessary unless you absolutly want it.

A water pick is worth the money you pay for it. You'll save so much more money when you don't have to buy any sort of tooth pick or floss.

All water picks are definitely worth the money, since they do an amazing job at removing plaque. When used after brushing, they actually get rid of toothpaste remnants and help remove plaque that way as well. They are about the equivalent of brushing twice in that sense. They are highly recommended by dentists.

A Waterpick isn't made for the intent of taking the place of brushing. The appliance is made to get food debris from between teeth. Yes, it's worth it.
