Yes, but wait a few days and then test again. The line means that the pregnancy hormone was detected, so it is almost impossible to get a false positive. However, you may be testing too early and it can fertilize but not implant, known as a chemical pregnancy.

First, be sure your test is not expired or that you read the test within the time line given. Some faded lines mean pregnancy and some tests are known to have a higher risk for evaporation lines.

Over the counter pregnancy test are not always 100% positive. If it is faded, your better off trying another one, or just go and make an appointment to see your gynecologist / physician. They are more likely to give you of a more accurate test and is confidential.

Usually two lines, even if one is faded means positive. HOWEVER, you should test again in a week because your HCG levels will be higher and make the test accurate.

It could be, but I would take another just in case. Following directions is key because you may get an additional line after a certain number of minutes, even if you are not pregnant. If this wasn't the case, you could just be very early in the pregnancy.

Generally if any line is visible it would be considered positive. If the line was faded, it would probably be best to repeat the test. Remember that the first morning urine is the best to use for tests for best accuracy.
