Macs are generally easier to use, visually pleasing, but generally more expensive. If you value ease of use over price then they are a good buy. Powerpoint can be purchased separately as part of the Microsoft office suite for 100-300 dollars if you want to buy another computer without it.

I would never mix Apple Software with MS Software. If you need something flexible by a PC. If you want to have an apple, use apple software only.

you only need to purchase a workbook if you are a professional worker for power point because for home users a normal version is enough with a pc

It is if you are a Mac fan - the new Powerpoint runs much smoother than its predecessors. It is especially useful for doing presentations using an iPhone or iPod Touch. The new Powerpoint has many updated features, no longer making it inferior to it's PC counterpart.

Powerpoint works essentially the same on a Mac vs Windows. Depending on what specific functionality you need, you can also use the free program Open Office instead.

Macbooks are high end computers, so if you are mainly going to work with Powerpoint no it is not worth buying. A Windows based computer will work just fine running Powerpoint.

Mac book with powerpoint is definitely worth buying. But the features provided by Mac book with powerpoint does not overtake a windows powerpoint. But when we go for MAC it is definitely a worthy product. The product is rarely used one but the efficiency is not compromised and works much better.

It depends. If you have Windows laptop with PowerPoint and you feel comfortable, you do not need to buy a MacBook. You must buy a MacBook, if you need to write iPhone applications.

Yes, it is worth buying a MacBook with Powerpoint. While you can use the free OpenOffice equivalent it is not fully compatible with the actual Powerpoint.
