A banana is not an herb. Herbs are plants that remain relatively small and the leaves are what is usually used. A banana grows in bunches on a tree and is the blossom on the tree, it is not the leaf of the tree.

No, a banana is a fruit and grows on trees. Herbs are plants that grow in the ground or a pot in the house. Like basil, parsley or chives.

No, a banana is not an herb. In normal usage, the word "herb" refers to a plant that's leaves are used as flavoring for foods, or possibly for their pleasant aroma. Botanically speaking, a plant can be called an herb if it doesn't have a woody stem and dies back to the ground every year.

No, a banana is not an herb, it is actually a fruit. Bananas grow in tropical areas, on tree tops of the Banana Tree. You would pick them just like you would pick an apple or a peach.

The banana tree is considered to be an herb due to the non-woody stem. The banana itself is techically a berry. Interestingly, the herb cannot reproduce itself and has to be manually polinated.

Banana is a fruit, but you can use it to flavor food if you want. You can make a sauce out of it and add it to other foods.
