In baseball, what is the distance from home plate to the pitcher's mound?

It depends on the field used. For regular baseball the distance is 60 feet 6 inches. As you might expect, the distance is lower for things like little league where the distance is only 46 feet. For pony league the distance is 54 feet and for Babe Ruth League it is 60 feet 6 inches.

In a standard major league baseball field the distance between the home plate and the pitcher's mound is 6 feet 6 inches or 18. 39 meters. This is also standard for high school baseball fields.

When the pitcher is on the mound and pitches the ball to the batter standing at home plate, he has to throw the ball 60 feet.
