If you go past your due date, does that mean there is something wrong with the baby?

I am five days overdue and going crazy.

No, going past your due date DOESN'T mean there is something wrong with the baby. I was due April 18 and delivered on April 23. My baby was perfectly healthy. Due dates are for estimation and are not a definitive date for the babies delivery. Less than 5% of women actually give birth on their due dates.

When going past your due date this does not neccessarily mean that there is something wrong with the baby. Its just that he/she does not want to come out, and inducing labor may come into play if baby is not delivered by 42 weeks.

No. It does not mean that ther is anything wrong with the baby, it just means that the baby is not ready to come out or that your water has to be broken manually
