If I combine Frontline plus Advantage will that be effective enough to kill fleas?

It would certainly kill fleas, but it could also be very dangerous for your dog. The doses in the tubes of Frontline and Advantage are based on how much your dog weighs and one tube of either is the medically safe amount for three months. Putting anything extra on your dog could make him sick.

Do not use these two treatments in tandem. Frontline is very effective to eliminate fleas. Advantage, a topical preparation, is also effective. There is no need to use them together and to do so will make your pet sick and could very well kill it.

Do not combine the flea treatments and use only one brand since wrong dose can be harmful. Kill fleas in the house with pet safe products to stop the infestation

It would probably kill fleas, but would also most likely give some adverse effects to your dog. The chemicals in the drops, if you use too much, can damage your dog's nervous system and could ultimately kill him. For the best results, use the different repellents on alternate years. Fleas won't get resistant that way.

Mixing medications is a tricky and dangerous business. Ask your vet which one is most effective and go with that one. Your dog can get started on that medication while you give him a very thorough flea bath. Also make sure to fume your home to get rid of fleas.

It is safe to combine frontline with comfortis, a pill taken monthly to prevent fleas. My vet said we can do it for our dogs and they are perfectly fine.

It's not a good idea to combine two different medications. Try one and see how it works, then try the other and see which works better for you.

If you combine flea medications you should get the advice of your vet first, just as you would get your doctor's advice before combining medicines.
