If a childs baby tooth is displaced, or bent will his permanent tooth be as well?

My childs baby tooth is displaced.

Possibly, but maybe not. Displacement of permanent teeth is usually due to insufficientroom in the space provided or in the mouth in general, so it may not affect the permanent.

Usually the placement of the baby teeth isn't indicative of how the adult teeth will be, but your dentist should be able to give you more information. An X-ray can show where the permanent teeth are.

The problem with a baby tooth does not necessarily determine the same problem with a permanent tooth. This can be verified with an exam by your family dentist and by watching the area closely.
