I changed the fuel pump om a Cadillac Deville and now it won't start - what do I do?

Check all around the car for gas leaks. If there is a leak trace it and repair the leak. If there are no leaks check the fuse and relay(s) for the fuel pump. If these are good, check the wiring going to the fuel pump to make sure you wired it correctly.

Chances are you didn't install something correctly. Go bad and double check you work. Also make sure that no fuses are blown.

You may need to make sure that the fuel pump is working as it will need pressure to make the fuel injection work.

it may be that the fuel lines need to be primed. either jump power to the fuel pump to prime the system or cycle the key a number of times.

You need to get a fuel pressure gauge and see if you are getting fuel pressure. If you don't then likely you didn't connect something correctly back in the tank. Check fuses first then drop the tank again and double check your work.

check to see if the fuel pump is pluged in. also, listen to see if the pump is functioning. check fuse panel.
