I changed my dog's food and now he is vomiting and not eating, what should I do?

First, I would change my dog's diet back to the food he was eating before. If that is the only thing that changed, then going back to the original food might fix the problem, if not, take him to his vet for any other reasons for this to happen.

Change it back to whatever you were feeding him/her previously to see if it helps. They may be allergic to something in that brand of food. If it doesn't help, then I highly suggest a trip to the vet.

I would start off by taking the dog to the vet to see if it is sick. The next thing is while you are there at the vet, find out if you should go back to the old dog food. My dog will only eat two kinds. Both of them happen to be the same brand.

When changing a dog's food brand or type, a gradual process is best. If a total change is started all at once, the dog may reject it or get sick.
