I am having troubles with my theft system, what should I do?

This is for my Chevy Malibu?

Well if this theft system was factory installed then take it to the car manufacturer and ask for the repair. If you installed it afterwards then take it to a reputable car repair shop where you can get it repaired because without the theft system your car could be stolen anytime.

If your theft system is not working well. You may want to get a new one installed. It is very important to have one in working order.

There is a bypass passlock I or II systems for vehicles in which remote start/stop system installations are required. Because a remote start system will not function with the current theft system. This modification is installed to be used only in conjunction with the installation of a remote start/stop system.

Well if it is a factory system then take it to a qualified Chevrolet service center and have them take a look at it.

Malibu ignition system has few flaws which cuts off during normal driving and disables car. Theft system is critical so diagnose this problem with dealers/expertise as the repairs are costlier.

Check the control unit of the your theft system. Then check all the function are installed in your control unit. check weather the software may problem or any other hardware problem. If software problem then check your catalog and reset the control unit otherwise contact your service person and then solve it.
