How to troubleshoot an oil seal leak in a lawn mower engine?

My lawn mower has an oil leak.

The first thing that you should is make sure that connections with in the lawn mower are tight and working. Then observe the oil casket to make sure that it is not leaking. Then look at all other pieces for cracks or leaks.

The oil can enter the combustion chamber in a couple ways, caused by a failure of the crankcase gasket. If the engine rings and cylinder has wore out. Remove the heads and luck at the cylinder wall. Crosshatch marks are totally worn away oil is coming up the rings.
