I would say that is a sign that you are allergic to mosquito bites. Usually they itch but just a little. If you swell and itch you are allergic.

Some itch is normal, however if treatment with an over the counter antihistamine provides relief see your doctor for further testing and treatment.

You will need to go to your allergist and have them test you for bites. I would say if you have more than the average reaction, you could be allergic.

The reason you swell up when you are bitten by a mosquito is a histamine reaction under the skin. All people have this reaction. You can lessen this by taking antihistamine allergy medications.

You may be in fact allergic. Many people have some degree of allergic reaction to a mosquito bite, however, it is pretty rare to have a severe reaction such as those associated with bee stings.

Well, if you are experiencing an itch and maybe other symptoms, you may be allergic. However, usually, when people do get mosquito bites that area swells and itching is very common. So if you really want to know, get yourself checked by allergy specialist.
