Your best bet for practicing a stand up comedy routine would be to practice infront of friends and family, people you trust and that will give you truthful and helpful feedback. You could also practice infront of a mirror to view yourself and to get your own mannerisms down.

It's a good idea to practice your jokes a lot. Practice on your own for a while. You can even videotape yourself. Then invite some friends over for a practice session. Have them give you feedback to see if there is a way that you can improve your stand up routine.

You should practice at open mic nights at local clubs/bars or at a friends party. You could also tell jokes to co-workers during lunch.
