You can freeze them "dry" by skinning them, mixing a bit of ascorbic acid like lemon juice into water (ratio of about 1/2 teaspoon acid to three tablespoons of water), coating them with the mixture and then freezing. Sugar and syrup solutions are also good.

You should first put some fresh lemon juice on the apple slices so they will not get a brown color. then you can freeze then in a plastic bag.

Sliced apples, tossed with lemon juice and prepared as for your favorite pie recipe, can be frozen in a plastic wrap-lined pie pan until solid, then removed and wrapped for freezer storage. When ready to bake, line the same sized pie pan with pastry, add apples, and bake.

Freeze them in pie mixture form. To do this, heat your recipe's ingredients over the stove until they are hot and in liquid form. Make sure that lemon juice is included to prevent discoloration. Then add in sliced apples and freeze. When you prepare the pie, add in some butter!

First make sure they're well peeled and cored of course. I would also toss them in a bit of lemon juice or sprite to prevent browning. Make sure there's as little air in the freezer container as possible. Baggies are good because you can squeeze a lot of air out.

Well you basically put them in a ziploc bag and let them freeze over time. No special instructions are required.

Bad idea - they always go "rusty". If you cut thick slices into sealable bags, add a squirt of lemon juice and squeeze all the air out, you can get away with it. Better to cook to a puree with a little sugar in the microwave, then freeze that.

When freezing apple slices for an apple pie, it is best to first cut the apple into eights. Then sprinkle the slices with cinnamon and sugar. Then store in a tupperware container.
