It all depends on how old you are at the time that they start trying to come in. The usual age that most dentist like to get them out is around fifteen. Most of it is decided on how and where the wisdom teeth are at.

My wisdom teeth came in my late 20s and had pulled a couple years after that. If left in, they can cause dental problems, unstraight teeth and other dental issues.

There is no set age for this. However, most often it is when all of the wisdom teeth are erupted or have attempted to erupt. Wisdom teeth that do not break the soft tissue are called "impacted". Usually the wisdom teeth are removed between the ages of 18-24.

Typically, most people are at least between the ages of 18 and 21 before they get their wisdom teeth pulled to ensure that the person has finished growing and the teeth have likely begun to emerge. Taking them out too early requires more surgery to extract them, but waiting too long can cause crowding in your mouth.

You can get teeth pulled at any age. Being older just means the procedure could be a little harder, if they're already aligned with your other teeth. I was 19.

They are pulled when they become a problem, as early as 12, but as late as older adulthood. Most dentists will not pull them unless they are a problem.
