A standard single layer DVD+R will hold 4. 71 Gigabtyes of data. This translate roughly into 2 hours of video (formatted to play in a DVD player. )

That depends on the capacity of which the dvd is made of. The dvd and dvd+r comes of 4gb and 8gb respectively. If the dvd is made of 4gb it can hold upto four to five movies. If it is of 8gb it can hold between eight to ten movies.

It holds minimum 4. 7GB but you can copy more than 4. 7GB too. If you use special program to Zip the file and you can copy even more video too. earlier it was available one movie in DVD but now days it is available 15 to 18 movie in one DVD.
