Usually a pallet is around 400 square feet of grass sod. Depending on the type it could be slightly more or less as taller verities might be less in one pallet.

Depending on where you obtain your sod, a pallet contains between 400 and 500 square feet. You would want to check with the sod farm in your area for a more exact measurement.

There is 400 to 500 square feet of sod coverage provided on one pallet. After the math is done, and you have selected your sod type you are ready to place your order. Order your sod in full pallets as some sod companies offer part pallets. Ensure you get a delivery confirmation date and a copy of their guarantee.

The amount of sod on a pallet can vary, but an average pallet has 500 square feet of sod. If you have a rectangular area, you can measure the length of each side and then multiply the number of feet to know how much sod you need.

First of all you have to measure the square footage of your yard. Generally a pallet provides 50 square yards of sod.
