Answer by  Bayarts (470)

The value of the coin would solely depend upon the condition the coin is in at the time of the attempted sale, what the current market for said coin is and whether or not the seller would be willing to bargain. The value of coins fluctuates from day-to-day. Waiting for the right time to sell would be prudent.

The answer depends on what type of coin you have along with its conditioning. In general, the better the conditioning the higher value the coin will be worth. Likewise, the worse the conditioning is the lower the value the coin is worth. Silver dollars range from six figure amounts to a mere thousand.

To sell this coin I have inherited, I need to find the value of this coin in order to sell it. I have many sources available. First of all the internet, but I am not sure I can trust it. Therefore I have decided to visit coin dealers in the area to get an estimate.

It depends on what type of coin it is, the quality of the coin, and the mint it came from. Send it to the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation for certification.

I have heard that there are only 8 real versions of this coin left available. This means that if the one you have is real - it is very valuable. They have sold for millions at auctions. You should have it analyzed to find out if you are the lucky owner of a very valuable coin!

The coin's value will depend on it's desire to collectors. However, it's current weight times the percentage of silver times the cost of silver is its minimum value to a gold and silver dealer.

There were many different coins made of silver at that time, in many countries. The value of your exact coin would matter on not only what country it was from, but on the coins condition and how many of that particular coin were made. Condition probably will turn out to be the main factor in value.
