An orthodontist being a specialist career would make in the region of 30-40k a year. The job is something that takes many years to train so the rewards are great. There is also surgical work involved as well as looking after teeth and fitting braces.

That depends if they work for someone else or if they work for themselves independently. An experienced oethodontist forking for himself can EASILY make over 150k a year. A new ortho just starting out for aomeone else around 70-80k

The median orthodontist salary is $120,000 per year. To fall in the 25th percentile an orthodontist would make approximately $99,000 and into the 75th percentile would average $146,000. These figures may change per location.

The average yearly for an orthodontist varies somewhat from region to region and from state to state. However, essentially all orthodontists command a good salary no matter where they are. In the United States the median income for an orthodontist is roughly $120,000.

This is a difficult to answer question. There are many factors that determine how much an orthodontists earn per year. The factors include the number of patients, the kind of treatment provided for different patient, whether the dentist is a private practitioner or government employed.
