Architects have a minimum of a four-year degree (Bachelor degree) in architecture from an accredited university. Many continue their education and do post-graduate work in specialty fields.

You will probably need at least 4 years of school (a bachlors degree) - at the minimum. Many jobs these days require a masters degree (5-7 years total), though.

Architecture is a four year undergraduate course. OFr post graduation, architecture generally takes 2 years. This is often referred to as the '4+2' scheme.

You don't need any if you have the right experience, but in most cases a four year college degree or a two year trade school diploma is what you need.
