How many Molly fry balloon fish is it safe to have in one tank?

As long as they are eight weeks old they should be big enough to not be eaten. Try putting in just a couple at first and see how things go.

The aquarium you are chooisng to buy your fish from you can tell you better than anyone else. Generally if you over crowd fish they wil die so you must be carefull about this. You could probably keep two to three in a twenty gallon aquarium. Be sure to verify with the pet store.

It is safe to have up to 40 molly fry balloon fish in your tank, but you must be careful that you have a tank that is big enough for all the fish and you must remember that you need to feed the fish more when there are more fish.

there is a chance they will change color, mine did slightly but nearly all my fry were born marbled. how big are your babies now?
