It depends on the size of the potato. A small one (up until 2.5" diameter) contains about 128 calories, a big one (up until 4.25" diameter) contains about 278 calories.

I think their might be about 70 calories in a plain baked potato with no toppings. Potatoes are good for you even though they have alot of starch.
