No one really knows! Obviously there is not one completely confirmed big foot specimen anywhere. However, big foots have been sited throughout the United States, commonly in relatively uninhabited areas. There is one type of sasquatch, called the Skunk Ape, that is endemic to Florida. Unlike its gorilla-like counterpart, the skunk ape more closely resembles the orangutan.

The legends of Bigfoot, also known as Sasquatch, have been around for generations. Similar legends can be found worldwide; Yeti, or the Abominable Snowman in the Himalayas, Tjutjuna in Russia, or Yowie in Australia. Despite sightings, photographs, sound recordings, footprints and hair samples, none of these creatures have been scientifically accepted as genuine. The mystery continues.
