If your dog is one of those big dogs, it certainly need longer time than small dogs. A good 30-45 minutes will do.

Depends how long you are paying for! All dogs should be walked at least daily. Twice is even better. In general, big dogs require more exercise than little dogs.

Age and temperament determine needs for exercise and time to eliminate waste. It should go out every six hours long enough to be peaceful when it's cooped up again.

Depends on the breed and age of the dog. Some like sheep dogs and terriers can go on for ever when they are young and fit. Some dogs like spaniels love places where they can go thorough undergrowth and get into rivers. Walk the dogs three times a day and it all gets slower as they get older.

I walk a neighbors dog five times a week for an hour. If you are walking the dog to help with an energy problem, then it is really just up to you. Depending on the size of the dog, and how hot it is outside, the time can vary.
