To become a CNA you are required to take a course and pass a test to obtain a license. It seems that it should take about six months to take the course with another few weeks to obtain the license. You can take this course at most community colleges or vo-tech schools.

It depends on what school you go to. It generally takes between 2-5 months to complete the training class. After wards you have to take CNA licensing tests.

CNA training programs last a few weeks to a few months, depending on the offering. Upon completion of training, the graduate takes a two-part licensing exam (written and practical). Upon successful completion, application is made to the licensing authority in that state.

Many community colleges offer CNA classes that can be completed in 9-16 weeks, it depends on the school and if you want to take classes full or part time. After you pass the classes, you have to take a test with the state you are in to become certified.
