A letter posted in the U. S. can take up to three weeks to deliver in India. The system of mail delivery in India is not reliable. City locations are delivered more quickly, but the more rural an address, the longer it will take. For important documents, use UPS or FedX.

Depends what level of service you pay for. Standard can take up to a couple of weeks, for a premium could be there the same week.

It depends on a lot of criteria: method you send it, time of year, etc. , but on average, I'd say about two-three weeks.
