It depends on the type of cocaine user on the amount of time it takes for cocaine to leave the system. Typically it may take 3-4 days but if it is a habitual user it may take longer than 30 days to clear the system.

It can stay in your system 72 hours, but it stays in your organs 1 to 7 days. Frequent usage can stay in your system for a month. Urine test are the best test for this.

Usually it depends on how much cocaine that you have used to determine how long it will take to leave your system. Once you do it though, it will always be traceable with a hair folicle test. It may not show up in your blood but it will your hair.

It takes a couple of days to get most of the cocaine flushed out, but withdrawal symptoms can be excruciating and may last for much longer, several weeks to several months.

My husband 's a cocaine addict , now clean 25 years. Recently, after surgery he needed pain medication. The doctor told us addict's brains are permanently "wired differently" with regard to drugs--making them harder to get off of even now. In answer to your question--you never get over cocaine.

Although the actual effect, or buzz you get from cocaine is realtively short-lived, cocaine can be detected in urine for 7-10 days. However, hair samples can test positive for cocaine for a long time after that. The best advice is not to do cocaine in the first place if you think you may have a drug test coming up.
