Most at home tests have results that appear almost immediately. If you get blood drawn it could take up to a few days.

Whenever I take a pregnancy test I generally wait a few days before I find out the results of it. So, it's a very difficult wait but in the end, everyone has to do it. The tension is going to be tough but once you get the results you'll be alright.

It really depends on the test you take. If you are taking an at home test, take it on the first or second day of your missed period and then the wait is normally around 3 minutes. If you are taking a blodd test in a lab you may have to wait three to five days for results.
