After breast feeding the breasts usually take about three weeks to two months to stabilize in shape, which may not be the same shape they were previous to breast feeding. After three months is a good time to check with your plastic surgeon.

Doctors have a waiting period so the milk ducts will close and have a lower risk of infection. The general rule is to wait 3 to 6 months.

The doctors will usually tell you to wait anywhere from 3-6 months. All the milk needs to be dried up first.

Well done to you for nourishing your baby the way that nature intended. Now, most doctors and surgeons would generally like you to wait between 3 to 6 months after nursing to receive an augmentation. All women are different so it may be best to consult your doctor.
