Discipline is important in any parent-child relationship, not just a father-daughter one. If a child is allowed to do anything at all they desire, they will not learn limits.

If a father is involved in the daughter's life, he must be able to set and enforce boundaries. This will show the daughter that the father cares, but will also teach the daughter to show the father respect. The father can then be part of the good and bad.

One of a parent's most important responsibilities is to teach their children boundaries. Boys and girls often test their boundaries in different ways but the overall objective is the same.

Discipline is very important, as going to either extreme (very light or very strict) can and will affect the relationship, and also the daughter's relationship's with men in the future.

Fairly important. Dicipline matters in ever parent child relationship. Often times fathers will not want to discipline their daughters because they don't want to be the bad guy.

Discipline is very important in any parent-child relationship. A parent is not a friend to his children. You certainly love and support them, but you also have to be willing to set rules and be firm with them.
