How good is the sound system in a Ford?

It all depends on what model of Ford you purchase and the stereo package you get. It can go from just plain and simple all the way up to a system with a subs and an amplifier. You get what you pay for. If you want a sweet sounding system, pay the extra.

This questions is very open ended. If the Ford is completely stock, the sound system is probably lacking in the sound department. Ford put paper cone speakers and shoddy wiring in every Ford I have ever owned. Generally, the standard sound system does not have any decent components, but will allow you to listen to music, not much more.

The new Ford model cars still come with AM/FM CD players, but a lot of the new Fords come with or can be upgraded to a radio that is made by Microsoft and it can do anything and more than that it gives directions, plays satellite radio and even MP3 Players as well as navigation built in.

Ford produces a variety of models and sound systems vary in them. I was very pleased with the one I had in my Taurus and never had problems with it. The best solution is to listen to the system in your model of choice and upgrade to the premium model.

It really depends on the model of Ford. All in all though, in my experience, the sound systems in Fords seem to be pretty good. I've driven lots of Ford trucks and they always have good sound systems and the radios have some of the best reception of statiions I've ever heard.

It depends on the Ford. In most current generation Fords, the system is one of the best in a domestic vehicle, with a lot of integration for devices.
