Abilify is usuallyy prescribed as a mood stabilizer in addition to an antidepressant. Sometimes an antidepressant causes a person to become manic and impulsive. Abilify works well for many patients and improves their quality of life. Listen to your doctor. Note any side effects and report them to your doctor.

I have heard great things about abilify. if i remember correctly i took it for a period of time before i quit meds. i would recommend for bipolar.
