Mathew was writing as if to Jews, Mark as if to Romans and Luke as if to the Gentiles. Same story, different audience.

The three books is different like how three of your friends retell the same story differently. It is their point of view on what happen in the event. that's pretty much it

They differ in their audiences: Matthew is aimed at a primarily Jewish audience, Mark at a primarily Gentile audience, and Luke at a more educated audience.

Matthew's account I would say would be more accurate because he was actually with Jesus. Matthew was one of the twelve. Luke was a doctor who and Mark was the cousin of Barnabas who went on a mission with Paul.

Mark is the shortest of the four gospels and is thought to have been written the earliest. Many scholars think the other gospels used Mark as a starting point for comparison in writing their own books. Matthew shows the most attention to detail. Luke was probably written by collecting stories from others instead of experience.
