Your 60 day notice does not have to be fancy. This is to inform you that i intend to move out of my apartment on mm/dd/yy. Make sure to sign the notice and date it and then have the landlord sign it that they received it and keep a copy.
Dear Landlord (or name),
This letter is to inform you that I will be moving from the (name of) building at the end of (month, and I am now giving you 60 days notice as required by the terms of the lease. etc...
