How do you use row counted or a loom to knit an afghan?

I would like to use a loom to cut down the time it takes me to knit an afghan.

Although afghans are traditionally crocheted or even knitted they can be woven on a loom. This is difficult for most people as a loom large enough for an afghan will be expensive and will take up a large space in the average home. With a loom then you can weave a beautiful piece that will have that hand loomed look.

Loom knitting is easy peasy! You'll find it goes quickly! You can pick one up for about $20 at michaels or joanne crafts. Get the biggest one, it has different directions than the little ones. There are also books to help you.
