You must feed your pet every day and whenever it shows any sign of hunger. You must clean the environment when it "poops" and show your affection. It is pretty easy to figure out if you check out all the buttons and check the pet's status.

Wake up you're tamagotchi by pulling the tab. Press the reset switch. Adjust the time. Make sure you take care of him like a baby. To do this you must feed him, medicate him,let him sleep, play with him and any other option the device gives you. You must keep him happy to keep him from the doctor.

Generally you turn it on by sticking a pin, pen or other sharp object into the small hole in the back. Then it will reset/turn on and you can play.
