You can buy chinese cookers at Bath and Beyond, Meijer and Macys. They come in different sizes. I have one, it is small, it does not come with a basket. You put in your rice if that is what you are making, cups of water and turn the appliance on.

Water at the bottom and washed rice or vegetables in a basket and switch on till done. Cook the white rice for 15 minutes, then add some marinated chicken slices (a mixture of oyster sauce, oil and cornstarch), chopped ginger root, and vegetables on top of the rice.
