How do you translate your menu into Spanish?

I have a lot of Spanish-speaking customers.

If you want to do the work yourself, one option is free Internet translating services. They are very imperfect, though, so once you have a draft, try and find someone to proof it for you: Spanish teachers at a local college or high school, ethnic associations. Put up a notice at your restaurant, maybe one of your customers would help.

I suggest you have a fluent Spanish speaking friend do it to avoid translation errors from a non-native speaker. You also might try a local Latino Cultural Center whose aim is to make life easier for the population they support. Having understandable menus might fall into that category.
