The flooring that is under the cabinets is the original flooring that was installed before the cabinets were put in place. If you want to extend the new tile under the cabinets, your best bet is to remove the cabinets, then re-install them.

Either remove the cabinets and tile underneath them and then reinstall the cabinets, or tile up to the edge of the cabinets and do not remove them. Which ever way can be correct.

To successfully tile under kitchen cabinets, you would have to remove the cabinets and reinstall them over the new tile. A simpler approach would be to use a tile cutter to remove any remaining portions of tile in front of the cabinets and tile around the cabinets.

The kitchen floor should be tiled in its entirety. It is better to remove all kitchen cabinets first and then tile the whole floor.
