Your best bet is to buy a router. With a router, you can plug the internet connection into it and then plug both computers into the router, allowing you to share one internet connection. If you decide to get a wireless router, that will allow you the opportunity to have wireless devices share the connection as well.

Many way's are possibles, you will need a router and you should be able to share the internet. The choice of the router is yours depending if you want a wireless one or not. You can always ask a young neighbor to help with the settings.

Acquire a connection with your PC. Go into the internet options and click properties. There should be a box that says "Allow other users to connect through this connection. " Check that box and then chose your method of connection below.

Plug the cable modem into the router, then the router directly into the Mac, the Mac has to "control" connection. Once connected, goto System Prefs > Sharing > then click Internet Sharing.

well all you have to to is setup a router for each pc to connect to. This should split your internet connection between the two. It should not matter that each one is running the different operating systems since the network connections are standardized.
