Remove the drive belt and the pulley from the old pump. Then remove the mounting bolts. You'll have to pry it off because of the gasket, and then scrape off the old gasket with a putty knife. Apply the new gasket, install the new water pump, and reassemble.

Go to a mechanic. If this is a 3. 5L engine an amateur should definitely not try it. If it's a 3. 3L you can do it.

It is actually pretty easy just take the bolts out and remove the old one and as you are doing itpay close attention to how it was in ther then install the new one. The hardest part is usually the serpantine belt that has to be romoved.

Mechanic should do it if its a 3.5l. But if its a 3.3L you can do it. Electric fans, belts, harmonic balance, timing cover/timing belt take off lastly the pump.

Locate the water pump on the intrepid. You may as well replace the thermostat as well since thats going to be easily accessible.
