Start by having the right plug socket, extensions, ratchet, and universal wobble. Place the socket and extension over the old plug. Use the wobble and wrench to get a good grip on it. Remove it turning counter clockwise. Replace the new one the same way but turning clockwise until you reach about 10lbs of torque on it.

First locate spark plug wires, then take one wire off and find the socket that fits the spark plug. Note you will need a deep well socket for this. Remove the spark plug, be careful to not break off spark plug, check gap of spark plug electrode before installing the new one. Remember, remove one plug wire at a time.

Once you locate the plugs remove the wires or coils on the plugs then simply pull the old ones out. Insert the new correctly gapped plugs with some anti-seize.

Mazdas are usually pretty easy. There are four rubber caps that are wired from the distributor to the top of the engine, remove those from engine. Stick your torq rench down in the hole, and unscrew the spark plug. Then pull out the wrench and hopefully the spark plug will stay in the wrench as you pull it out.
