Most remotes can be programmed it is just a case of knowing which buttons to press but it depends on the model of samsung remote you have and what you are trying to connect to, you should be able to find a programme matrix for remote on the internet.

Some remotes can be programmed differently depending on the model of the remote. Also mostly new remotes come with instructions on how to program them.
