On the back of the clock body there should be an adjustable screw up in the corner. It should have a positive and negative sign on the end. Turn the crew counter clockwise to speed it up and clockwise to slow it down.

On the rear of the movement, there should be an adjustment screw near the top right corner. It should have a plus sign on the left and a minus side on the right. You turn the screw counter-clockwise to make the clock run faster, and clockwise if you wish to make the movement slower.

You're better off getting a professional to work with the Hermle, because the wrong hands can do quite a bit of damage if it is handled too rough. There is a large network of Hermle dealers that carry special tools to fit the Grandfather Clocks. If you don't want to hire them, at least rent the correct tools!

To adjust the speed of the clock move the pendulum either up or down using the nut. To adjust the time use the minute hand in a clockwise turn until you reach the desired time
