The sex of a baby is determined right at the moment of conception. There is no way to make sure that you'll have a baby girl or boy, even before you are pregnant.

Yes, it is too late if you are already pregnant. But if you want to try for the next time, check out the Shettles method. Supposedly girl sperm are slow but hardy, so have intercourse several days prior to ovulation.

Gender is determined the moment the baby is conceived. Your egg contains an X chromosome. A sperm cell contains either an X or a Y chromosome. If the sperm that fertilized the egg contains an X chromosome, the baby will be a girl. If it contains a Y chromosome, the baby will be a boy.

You have sex at least three or two days before ovulation occurs. If you are already pregnant, just wait and accept the outcome since a kid is a gift and many weep every day for being childless.
